Chevron Prestige Cars is a small but strong company owned by two families, the Robinsons’ and the Lowes’. We have been established since 1995. Alec Lowe and Ian Robinson have been working together since 1984, when they teamed up as salesmen at Maxim Motors at Newstead. They both helped move Maxims into Jim Reddiex's custom built showroom at 44 Abbotsford Road, which is, home to Chevron today. Prior to starting their careers in sales, both Ian and Alec worked as qualified motor mechanics, dealing in various facets of the motor industry.Alec, was named top apprentice in Australia, and is experienced with all European vehicles, particularly Citroen.Ian was a qualified diesel mechanic with Leyland, and later started his own workshop.Together, Ian and Alec bring a wealth of knowledge and experience, both of cars and business to Chevron. They have, between them, over 75 years of service in this industry. They share a love of cars, and have restored numerous vintage and veteran vehicles. Alec, with his co-driver Lance Collins of DS Motors, has entered his Citroen Light 15 in many rallies and events around Australia, and is always competitive. Ian's wife, Sue, looks after paperwork, bookkeeping and compliance issues, as well as staff welfare. We also employ Stephan, a young disabled adult who cleans our cars and premises for us. We select our stock carefully, and choose only high quality vehicles. We want to match our customers to the right car for their needs. All our cars are offered for sale registered with warranty, and are certified roadworthy by an independent inspector. At Chevron Prestige Cars, our motto is "For Personal Service".
